It depends what type of organisations you mean...if you mean work type organisations I would say it is important, as with diversity can often come prejudice and discrimination..as many of us don't always accept diversity, thus organisations have to be aware not to discriminate against those who differ from the norm. It's also policy to in many organisations to hire a certain amount of people from different races, religions, genders depending on the amount of people working in a certain place. Organisations must be shown to promote equal opportunities in the world today
