ok ok...this totally didn't happen to me but it happened to my best friend...it's hilarious

So this is the first Valentines Day her and husband are spending together after the wedding....she buys this really cute red teddy from VS turns off all the lights in the condo. She goes running into the bedroom to surprise her husband. Rounds the corner and runs smack dab into the wall knocking out her front tooth and knocking herself out! lol....her husband waits like 15 mins and wonders what the hell is taking so long..finds her on the floor passed out with a bloody lip and a really hot sexy teddy on. lol

LOL....they called her dentist and spent Valentines getting a vanier put in! Isn't that crazy! Funny though...she's ok but her husband tells it way better.

Last year I bought this guy that I really like a bear that was holding a heart that said Sweetheart for the fact I called him that...And on the tag it said I wanna be more than friends. I also made him cookies and a single rose. I put it in front of his basketball locker before I went to track practice. Then I wondered why he never said thank you...It turned out that somebody had stole it...It made me soooo mad.

I've only celebrated one Valentine's Day where I was in a relationship so far, but it wasn't exactly a memorable one.

Three years ago: My boyfriend of the time & I had just started going out officially 2 hours before Valentine's Day. I was so thrilled that I was finally going to have someone to spend Valentine's Day with (and literally just in the nick of time!). But then he informed me that he had to work on V-Day. At the time, he was working part-time at his Aunt's florist, so I was definitely hoping for some flowers.

I went out to TGI Friday's with a group of my friends that night who just so happened to be dating my boyfriend's closest friends. They had all gotten flowers & chocolates & tons of great things from their boyfriends, including a fancy dinner earlier. I was happy for them, but a little disappointed since my boyfriend & I had been dating for a month & a half before we became an official couple & I didn't even get to see him on our first (and only) Valentine's Day together. My friend Laura showed up & handed me a single red rose with a little card attached to it. The card read: "Sorry I didn't get to see you. I'll make it up to you." It was from my boyfriend. I was so happy that I nearly cried. I had never gotten anything from a guy before, especially nothing this romantic or sweet.

I later discovered that all of the nice gifts my friends had gotten from THEIR boyfriends (which they had only been dating 2 weeks longer than mine, so it's not as if they were with their boyfriends longer than me!) were actually courtesy of my boyfriend from the florist shop he worked at. He had given all of his friends a bouquet of roses to give to each of my girl friends & all he had gotten for me was one rose.

Yes, I know. Not exactly a horror story because at least he got me something. But it's the only story I've got. And looking back, I wonder why he put in the effort to get my FRIENDS flowers, but not me. Needless to say, he never "made it up" to me either. We broke up 2 months later.

The first year I was with my ex he got me nothing, but asked me to leave the house when his ex called to say thank you for the flowers he was sending her. (He said he felt sorry because she never found anyone else)

It was the year I was pregnant.

I had a boyfriend who gave me pearls for V-Day. When we broke up he asked for them back. I gave him such a withering look he actually blushed and backed off. Men, don't do this!
