Was reading some of the history of the Scourge in Undercity... and I came by Necromancy... and was just wondering... what type of study is this? Like what's the definition. And how's it actually used in the game.

Necromancy is a form of divination in which the practitioner seeks to summon the spirits of the dead.
and in world of warcraft you is a race called undead. the Horde sides uses. some of the enimies you fight are ghosts zombies, undead creatures.

Necromancy is the branch of magic which deals with the (un)dead - zombies, ghosts, that kind of thing. And not just in World of Warcraft.
