If you have XP, go to the Control Panel and select Display

Click the Settings tab, and you should find somewhere there the ability to change your screen resolution. Hopefully increasing the resolution will improve your problem.

Try rebooting and check your screen resolution. Do you have some sort of virus scan? Like Ad-Aware that will clean it for you, and it's free. Good Luck.
