I am due April 5th but there is a good chance I could go early so I am trying to narrow it down soon. Opinions on this would be great and please don't be rude. Thanks!
We are pretty much set on Zander as the first name but need a good middle name. I want a 3 syllable one as it flows better with first and last name which is Derberry. Thanks

Thanks for all suggestions. Zander with a z is how we like it. Do not want Alexander. Do not like naming a name and calling them something else. Christopher is my first sons middle name.

At first I thought the DER was a problem but who will say his name so much together. And we do not like Alexander, no alex for short. I also thought of Zane too.

I have seen a naming guideline in many different places that says that the most pleasing sounding name combinations have a one-syllable, a two-syllable, and a three-syllable name. With Zander and Derberry, I would choose a nice, strong one-syllable name. I like Zander Pierce Derberry.
Unfortunately, I do agree that ZanDER DERberry is pretty awkward. If you're really set on the name Zander, maybe you could at least consider naming him Alexander, so he would have other options. If he does get teased a lot, or doesn't like the sound of the two "ders" together, he could be Alexander, or Alex, or Alec. If you decide not to use Zander, another Z name that I like is Zane.
