i've missed you so much these last few days
i wish you were here within my caress
so much that i think there's something to confess
there is someone else that has taken your place
all those days that i couldn't see your face
it happened quite naturally as you might guess
i'm really terribly sorry for this mess

You just need to learn to be open-minded. I can name a favorite band from the 70's to now... 70's - Boston 80's - Poison, for sure 90's - Goo Goo Dolls (Yes even the old albums, that's why they're 90's) and 00's - Coheed and Cambria ^ That list is subject to change in the next month. You just have to be willing to progress. Don't let yourself get caught up in one decade, because you'll never hear it anywhere else. Of course there will be BANDS or SOUNDS you dislike, that's music. BUT if you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT stand anything that's not 80's and you want something similar... Check out Bang Camaro as a last resort. Just because music you like is no longer mainstream, doesn't mean it's totally gone.
