Ain't a teen or a woman but I'd say unless you are very bushy there, some are, just trim the hair! You never know in a few years the shaven coochie maybe out of style! And then guy may like hair too!

Whenever you feel comfortable doing it. Personally, at that age I just did it in the summer as well. Best thing to do( or so I've learned from trial and error) is to apply a small ammount of ordinary hair conditioner and place a warm washcloth on the area you are going to shave. Wipe off excess conditioner and apply a modest amount of Bikini Zone shaving gel(it's like $3 at wal-mart), using a sharp razor, use slow, careful, downward motions to shave the area, being careful to only go over the area once or twice. Shaving daily is nearly impossible to do without getting irritated, so I shave every other day. If you do it right you shouldn't have any irritation, but if you do Bikini Zone also makes an after-shave gel for those nasty bumps. Good luck.

I only started shaving down there in college. I generally only trim as that is what feels best to me. If you are just wanting a nice bikini line get it waxed, it lasts a long time and is better than shaving. To remove all the hair I wax what I can stand to wax and shave the rest.

I think I started when I was about 13. The best way to remove the hair is waxing it, but if you don't want any pain then shave it off. You should wax your bikini lines and shave the rest that way you always look good in a bathing suit. :o)

I would start whenever you feel comfortable doing so. I started shaving as soon as I became curious, I think I was age 13 or so. I started with just shaving the bikini line for summer and then started shaving more as I became older and more comfortable.

Many girls start shaving at 12 or 13. Be sure to use an electric shaver instead of a razor. That is a delicate area, and a razor will cause too many cuts and ingrown hairs. I recommend the Seiko Cleancut Shaver because it's the best pubic hair shaver you can buy.

It doesn't matter the age, if you start feeling uncomfortable down there because of the hair, why don't you start shaving a little part so you can try and see if it works for ya?

You get to do your thing with your hair.
at 13 - 16 I hope it just you,, that will be looking at it.
Now, if your in a nudist family, I strongly advise talking it over with them.
I suggest using the electrics as the blade scrapes the skin. I have the Remington titanium beard trimmer.
I will be looking onto Sharper Image's E-pen.
Someone soon will come up with little templates to paste on and trim fancy patterns for landing strips.

I find that shaving can give you red, irritated bumps "down there," which is almost as bad as having the hair itself. It just screams, "I shave my privates!!!" I've found that Nair works the best. No irritation, and it doesn't grow back as fast. You can buy the stuff made specifically for the bikini line.

It is ok to shave when you are comfortable down there. Just be very careful and use alot of shaving cream and warm water.
