She will be of course very large. Often people observe that she will have a more "squared off" appearance to her belly or that she seems to be hiding more than usual. There is no clear cut signs, but watching for these things may give you a clue. Best thing is to get her in a tank to herself several days ahead of time. the tank should also provide lots of cover and hiding places for the babies as she will try to eat them as soon as they are born.

The Female Guppy looks dull and her belly will be really fat, she will have less of a tale fin. The males will slender more colorful and have a longer fin tail. If the guppy has a light colored belly you can even see somthing in there if you look hard and long enough. The female will look like she just ate way to much food. After a couple of days youll notice shes slender and if you have alot of plants you wont be able to see the fry. But make sure that you have lots of plants artificial or real also what you can do is buy a special cage to put in the tank and seperate the females who look really fat, and when she has the fry you be able to see them just take her out and leave the fry in the breeding cage to grow and then release back into the tank. Your gonna have alot of fish in a couple of month with guppies. There live bearers same as sword tails and mollies, if you have enough plants and decor in your tank theyll be great.
