If you hover your cursor over the connection item (shining terminal in the "tray" near the time-of-day at lower right it will show the speed, going on, at the current connection speed, if that's what you mean

Test it through an online bandwidth test. There are many free online sites which provide this service. Just google 'free bandwidth test' and you choose one of the results.
