ladies i wanna know what´s the diffance between tights and pantyhose if it the same thing??

i always thought they were the same thing
- US - Pantyhose
- UK - Tights

AH... Which side of the pond do ya live? If you are in England or Europe even the them tights is used for pantyhose AND the thicker dance tights. In the "Americas" we separate tights and pantyhose, we are so rebellious here.

No pantyhose are sheer and can run easy, then have to be put on carefully so not to snag your nails on them causing a run. Tights are thick and can take a lot of abuse. They are also more of a fabric then a nylon.

Tights are also warmer in cold weather and come in many colors.

tights are thicker. Usually worn in winter time. Pantyhose are more sheer and very delicate.

to be honest i always thought that pantyhose were knickers and tights r tights...hope i'm not wrong

tights are tighter, thicker, more reinforced, not invisible like p hose.. unlike pantihose that rip so bad.
