Can i get my ps2 webcam to work as a webcam on my pc?

I have a ps2 eye toy camera and was wondering if with the usb port on it you can attatch it to use it as a webcam whn having online chats. I've added it once before and was told that it was recognised but the when it came to downloading the software it said that it couldn't be found. Is there anything i can do to get this to work?

yes you can but if you plan on doing video webcam where you talk on the web cam the web cam makes a load noise ive tried it kk
