the theme of the party is "a night of black and white" i will have about 30-40 ppl attending and its suppose to be really extravegent and glamorous.

There really isnt a budget. the place that I booked before was a vacation house of $2000. I guess im looking for something less.

No bar hopping, vegas, etc. Somewhere in Orange County, Ca.

Another rental place if possible, hotel is a last resort.

I've been there done that. I'm currently 22 getting ready to turn 23. I was supposed to go to New Orleans for my 21st. But 3 strikes you're out! My sister got pregnant a month before, soon after hurricane Katrina hit, then noone else would go if my sister wouldn't go. My advice is to try out 6th street in Austin, Tx. It is loads of fun and a great spur of the moment place. If you are single it's a good way to meet new friends. I'm personally married now and pregnant so no more trips there for me. But if you're in to the party scene you'll love it!

Check out your local paper that has a entertainment section or even ask one of your closet friends ideas of were to have it. Bottom line "Happy Birthday" no matter what.

When I turned 21, my friends rented a bus to drive us around to all the bars. Everyone chipped in $$ for the bus and we had a great time! (they might even let you bring booze on the bus)
