I had this similar problem of malware and virus
I tried everything from antispyware to antiviruses nothing seemed to work.
Some of the utilities I tried are:
Windows Defender :(
SpyBotS&D :(
Spyware Analyzer :(
System Mechanic's Anti spyware :(
AntiVir Personal edition (anti virus plus antispyware) :(

Then one of my friends suggested using NOD32 antivirus
Eureka! Solved my problem.
This is one hell of a product It scanned my computer and cleaned each and every part, it even detected those threats which were not detected using any of the above mentioned products.
BUT only letdown is it is a paid software. Anyway you can download a 30 day free trial copy from
http://www.eset.com/download/index.php
and see all those viruses and other threats being vanished in a couple of minutes :)

I suggest running a spyware/malware scan. There are loads of free ones out there.

There is an article at;

http://www.goitexpert.com/en/index.cfm/2007/1/16/Make-SpyBot-run-automatically

that describes step by step and with screenshots of how to to a spyware scan and configure it so that it scans automatically and cleans any infections that you may have.
