OK, call me old -- call me prudish, but am I the only one who thinks burping and farting in public are NOT?

socially acceptable behavior? My sweet, darling niece and her wonderful husband "impressed" each other on their first date by having a burping contest. I guess it worked for them, but eeewww.

I can call you old and prudish and you can call me back...I don't think it is socially acceptable, sure, once in a while I can find myself laughing at my hubby, but we are always on our own...
Never on a first date either...lol.

The first thing that come to mind is no manners, rude behaviour. and you wonder if they were taught any kind of acceptable public behaviour.
