Poor, lazy bums who leach off social services or rich, lazy bums who pay little or nothing in taxes.

Neither. The greater threat to the Middle Class is the middle class itself not taking actions to ensure that our laws are followed, that they are not paying more than their fair share of taxes or social services, and that their jobs are secure. The middle class can run a Presidential Candidate and get him/her elected by ignoring the rich and the poor and simply getting out and voting and riding herd on their elected and/or appointed officials. The middle class can single handedly affect the most change because if the middle class goes on strike the world will shut down. The Middle Class has the brains, the ingenuity and creativity, the power, the money, and the ability -- they just need to use it.

The rich lazy bums. They are typically the policy makers (politicians) or the influencers (lobbyists). Either way, the rich lazy bums make sure the amount of space between their socioeconomic status and that of the middle class gets larger and larger everyday - they don't want us near them spacially or economically.

Sorry, but Paris Hilton is much less of a threat to me than someone who wants to live off of my children's college money. I don't know any other rich lazy people who don't pay taxes out the azz. Most rich people are far from lazy, it's usually just their kids who end up that way.

You are way off there.

The biggest threat to the middle class is the socialists that are passing themselves off as Democrats. Those that want to see income redistribution, socialized health care, and a surrender in Iraq.

People like billionaire George Sorros who is pushing for the rich to be taxed much more heavily, while the bulk of his money is untouchable and in offshore accounts.

It's the rich Democrats that think that the rules need to apply to everybody but them that is the biggest threat. It is the dems in favor of labor unions that are driving wages and benefit costs so high that companies can't afford to operate in America anymore and move overseas in search of labor they can afford. It is myopic folks like you believing the vitriol spewing from the mouths of the left.

Hate to say this, but most of those who earn a large income, pay a load in taxes. The people who already have a lot of wealth, have already paid their taxes on that income. What is really dangerous is when the people in this county start trying to worry more about what other people are doing, and not worrying about what they are doing to make themselves successful. You will only make yourself unhappy by focusing on what happens to others.

Rich Republicans.
I moved from Cali to Texas...BIG MISTAKE!!!
My property taxes are 7 X's higher but the house is worth 100,000 less than the Cali house. They don't have free birth control for women. They have terrible medical benefits for employers to choose from... 3X's the cost but half the coverage. Food is twice the cost but less quality.

WTF?
I thought republicans were for less taxes?

The poor can go to school, get jobs, and be a contributing part of society.

The rich can't be reformed.
