I think it would be foolish to use nuclear weapons on Iran and North Korea. The United States would also have to bomb Venezuela and whatever other countries that would declare us their enemies. Our world would suffer the damage environmentally. It would be like getting a serious bruise on your shoulder when you fired a shot gun. Iran has exposed their intentions by declaring that Iran's nuclear program is no threat to Israel - according to this article in the Daily Times - http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2007%5C02%5C12%5Cstory_12-2-2007_pg4_12. If Iran is telling the truth, then their nuclear program is a threat to another country. I would guess Iran would gladly detonate a nuclear device somewhere in Iraq. If Iran is lying, then I think Israel will act with the support of it's allies, though not with nuclear weapons. Once Iran gets a nuclear device, I doubt it would make it to mainland U.S.A.
The U.S.A. should be prepared to defend itself against North Korea, but North Korea would need to work itself into a suicidal frenzy to attack the US. North Korea will probably collapse from the inside.

Letting Iran develope nukes is the stupidist thing we could ever do....why not just give Hitler 100 nukes and say "have fun".......Iran has SAID they want to "wipe Israel of the map" so that would kill about half of the jews in the world......N Korea......now that is a little more difficult.....the U.S GUESSES (because there is no way of knowing) that they have the third largest standing army in the word...we (the U.S) have about the 6th., would we win a war over there? Of course but if the democrats are complaining now about 3-4,000 people lost in combat then they better get ready for a long b i t c h i n g session because we woudl lose 10 times that in N Korea...thats not a little pushover country......we would have
ALOT more help in there though....Australia G Brittain, Japan, S Korea, Canada, and Poland have already pledged their support in this matter and that is more than we need....Of couse France ( p u s s i e s) and Germany( pacifist) are saying "there is no need to go there" but f u c k them...let me see France is got there *** kicked in WW1 ....WW2.....Vietnam....and England kicked their *** numerous times....Germany......Bad guy in WW1 and WW2......if History can teach us anything it is that they are a bunch of evil F U C K S !!!!!!! So they can kiss our asses and watch the war on their t.v's........But yes I agree with our policies...I wish they were stricter, but im not a politician......I will say this though, WW3 is probably comming in the next ten years...... the biggest loser? The U.S because of the Democrats and all of their B I T C H I N G !!!!!!!!!

I think the policy they have toward N. Korean is working just fine. That mad man is about to go crazy wondering why he has nukes and could use them and the U.S. won't sit down and talk to him, but they will at least have dialog with Iran who doesn't have nukes "yet".

The U.S. will only take so much from Iran. If they try to attack one of our allies or do, I wouldn't want to be within 150 miles of Iran's capitol or nuclear facilities. Does the word "toast" mean anything? This is of course while Mr. Bush is in office. Iran, N. Korea, Syria, Lebanon, Russia, China and France are just waiting for a liberal to win the '08 presidential race. If that happens, GOD help us. Our country, outside interests, and allies will be handed over to them without so much as a whimper.

Absolutely not! It would start the one thing that no one wants, death to this planet!
You don't think that if we nuked even one of those countries that all of the others having nuclear weapons would just sit there waiting to see if they were to be next? They would react & hope to get us before we got them!
None of those countries have the nuclear power to defeat us, yet, except China; even China is playing a waiting game, for the time being. How long; anyone's guess.

None, besides the undeniable fact that the propaganda conflict through the authorities hostile to our personal people maintains. The media and authorities were promoting us this new conflict for your time now. The criminals behind it care no longer if oil is going to $three hundred. The time table is new international order, a useless ringer for Daddy Bush needed. New international order = 2 training of persons, elites and poor people. To the criminals behind the conflict time table, it may well be a convenience for his or her time table if through eliminating Iran, in addition they ruin the middle type. it is going to come as no wonder that the european is cooperating. eu is a creation of the hot international order gang. we are no longer being informed the reality about Iran through the authorities or the media. Even on the uncommon get mutually that a honest fact (unsupportive of conflict) comes out of the Pentagon, the media both blacks it or minimizes it. DAR says all of it. We will be in extreme difficulty the following persons. It behooves me how we did not learn from the Iraq conflict. all of us understand that the authorities and media provided fake and deceptive assistance. We see the outcome of that, yet maximum of our people are falling into an similar propaganda seize. What got here about to us as a people? at the same time as did we end doing our personal wondering? Why are we so gullible to trust each and everything we listen in the media even besides the undeniable fact that we now understand what they persuaded us about Iraq grow to be no longer actual. God help us! I implore people to get their information about Iran from self sufficient information resources. Google it! no less than, take the time to study some diverse perspectives. I responded a question the following immediately about martial regulation. 0.5 of the persons answering trust it "conspiracy concept" that the president has authority to declare martial regulation without congressional approval. If that shows the point of knowledge of 0.5 the inhabitants, then there is not any preventing this Iran conflict. There are criminals in the authorities, controlling our overseas coverage. If we do not music in to that quickly, we are done like dinner, and so are the Iranians.

I think "preemptive" tactics are absolutely idiotic. There's a difference between being prepared & intelligent and bombing the crud out of a country, regardless how dangerous their threats may be, in order to stop something from happening.

I don't understand how it came to be that starting a war is the best way to stop a war from starting.

It's simply a case of MY army's bigger and better than YOURS. Bragging and showmanship are not good qualities for one of the most powerful nations to have.

I like the way a basically illegal act is turned into a mainstream recognized strategy for dealing with a problem. There is no such thing as preemptive strike in international law nor in american law. If you think (just suspect) someone has a gun you arent allowed to shoot them to death in self defense. Think about it.

For the most part, yes.

I do think we should offer direct talks with Iran though. Nothing will come of it, obviously.. but it'd make a better appearance of things.

Why are conservatives so terrified?

Either someone's gonna tax them to death, or someone's gonna drop a bomb on their head.

I don't get it.
