I would try calling a Century 21 in your area. They usually offer informational seminars for free. They give you information on how to start out in the real estate world and information on real estate schools near you so that you can take the course and get licensed.

Good luck!

Now is NOT the time to get onto real estate. If you really must go into that line of work, you HAVE to work for someone first. No one would hire a rookie agent of broker. Go to school,, get a license, and good luck,

You have to work for a broker if you become an agent (in most states anyway). In order to become a real estate agent, you need to take a class and pass your exams. Once you do that, you need to pay up to actually get your licence. It's not a cheap investment at first.

By not getting started, it's a very bad time right now. Get your license, but currently, you will probably need to hold a regular job.
