I lived in France for a year when I was a student, in Rouen specifically. They were very pleasant, contrary to the stereotype. And don't forget, we saved their butt in WWII, but they saved our butt in the AMerican Revolution. A right-wing troll told me I should go back to France. I took it as a compliment.

They gave us many of the ideals contained within the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, so I like them.
They also provided us with enough naval support to win the Revolutionary War. Thanks France!
