International Food House on 35th between 7th and 8th is a decent AYCE Latin Place. The roast chicken and pork are generally tasty, as are the meatballs for some reason. Buffet is for lunch only and runs $7 or $8 I believe.

There's one in Astoria that sells by weight. I got a yummy 13 ounce skirt steak for $5.80.

Dayo in the village has a Sunday brunch buffett.

Use to offer a Filipino lunch buffet every weekday for $6. I know the one in Woodside still has it (you have to go upstairs).

The very best one is in Flushing, Queens - it's on Main Street and it's called East Buffet. Not really inexpensive - more than $20 for dinner, but they serve lobster, crab, several shrimp dishes, sushi, Peking duck and an incredible sharksfin seafood soup.

There are several inexpensive ones in Brooklyn - about $12 for dinner, $8 for lunch (fewer choices at lunch and generally no shrimp till dinner prices start)
Seaport Buffet, 2027 Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay
King's Buffet, 86th Street and Avenue U, Brooklyn (then you get pizza for dessert at L&B Spumoni Gardens a few blocks away)
There's a Chinese buffet on the corner of 86th Street and 13th Avenue in Bensonhurst
There's an all you can eat buffet on Neptune Avenue near Stillwell - it's where Carolina's Restaurant was.

If you'd be interested in an incredible Japanese all you can eat, check out Todai on 32nd and Madison in Manhattan. It's more expensive, but very, very good.

There used to be a buffet in Chinatown - Panda something on East Broadway - not sure if it's still there.

If you watch Becker (with Ted Dansen), he names a cheap Chinese Restaurant and his character likes the free delivery if you are nearby (but I forgot what the name of it is since I haven't seen that episode for some time).
