That is a pretty open-ended question. There are several things that could happen. They could elect to start using any number of different contraceptives on the market. They could decide that the woman is going to have a tubal ligation. They could go the vasectomy route.
I'm sorry, but the question was specific enough for a specific answer. Above are the methods that are available for not having any more children.

No, really. Everyone should know their limits when it comes to having children. Some folks can handle 5 or 6 kids. Some can't handle one. And it would be detrimental for someone who can only handle one child to have 5.
Children are like synergy. Having 2 kids is really like having 3: each of them working alone plus both of them working together. And it only goes up from there.
Now, a couple that decides to stop having kids should consider permanent birth control (snipped or tied).

Either have your tubes tied, he has vasectomy, or you use birth control of some type.

Well, either one or the both get fixed so there's absolutely NO way she can get pregnant ...unless she cheats, of course.

Either they have no more sex or someone gets "spayed or neutered". Then.... NO MORE KIDS.
