That's the opinion I'm getting from the pundits on Sky, Andy Gray and most people on this forum
I can only shake my head and laugh at you lot. Have any of you ever played football. It's not nice out there, there's very little being polite and pleasant, but everyone's on Henry's back as if he karate kicked a palace fan. Or deliberately did a high tackle to end a players career, or turned round and shoved the ref, or headbutted an opponent or swore at the linesmen/ref, or chased after the ref and waved an imaginary card to get Kirkland booked
NO, He shoved a ball in Kirkland's face and probably made a joke about his time wasting coming back to haunt him, which it did.

So you want him ban/suspended for this ? Drama queens !

Good answers moonwitch, Lehmann had me laughing too, especially after his second attempt almost came back too.

And I'm not saying Henry is disgraceful or should be suspended, I honestly don't think what he did was bad, it was funny and witty
I'm trying to put into perspective that what Henry did is nothing compared to what other players do, most even getting away without a booking

My husband, two sons and myself watched the game and thought what Henry did was hilarious. We are all avid Arsenal fans and were getting really frustrated with Wigan and the goalies antics.

What Henry did may not have been exactly sportsman like but neither was Wigans behaviour. When Lehmann then played the comic at the other end of the pitch hitting the ball off the fencing again had us in fits of laughter. Very entertaing, as were the goals.!!!

O.K. They got their yellow cards, that should be end of it.

Suspended for what?!! im pissed off with Kirkland too for his bs on the field ever since wigan went a goal up. Every fan of the game should be too cause i turned my tv on, or spectators paid to watch football. not some goalkeeper acting lethargic like he is tryin to remember how to kick a ball. For that same reason i dont like van der sar and his tactic of moving the ball from one side to the other for a goal kick. its ridiculous! And whats the problem with Henry acting the way he did, its a strikers job to put pressure on the goalkeeper, Kirkland was just on of those ones that took some firmer actions from Henry

oh give me a break! other players fight and beat each other up and no one says anything but when Henry says a few words to that goalkeeper (which he had the right to do since he had been wasting so much time) everyone is shocked and demands that he gets suspended! it doesn't make any sense so get off his back!

Wigan have been toe to toe with Chelsea for the 1st 30 Min's. in actuality, formerly the third objective, Wigan certainly had 15 photographs to Chelsea's 7. yet they purely fell aside. ''fairly properly'' ought to intend the entire ninety Min's. no longer component to the sport. I disagree with the assessment.

I agree with you. It's the competitve streak in him that prompted him to do that and every player in professional football has that streak to some degree. He wanted to win and he let Kirkland know about it. Whie you're at it, suspend Cristiano Ronaldo for his thousands of dives every season.
