I went to Legoland California in 2005. It is a very interesting place to go to.

It is split into eight sections which include The Beginning, Dino Island, Explore Village, Fun Town, Knight's Kingdom, Miniland USA, Pirate Shores and Imagination Zone.

Miniland USA is the "heart and soul" of Legoland. Miniland USA includes reproductions of seven areas of the United States, all constructed with well over 20 million LEGO bricks in 1:20 scale. It can be seen from many places in the park. Miniland is also home to the model shop, the main design and build office for LEGOLAND California's six Master Model Builders. There is a large viewing window so guests can watch the Builders at work, often on new models for the park.

Miniland USA presents famous landmarks built entirely from standard LEGO elements. Guests experience the wonders of Washington D.C., New Orleans, New York City, Florida, San Francisco and the Southern California coastline - in miniature - right down to the smallest detail. Also, don't miss Las Vegas (opening March 29) which features a variety of whimsical and animated models that replicate scenes found in the actual city. For a nominal fee, you can even navigate your own mini boat in the LEGOLAND Marina.

Besides Miniland there are also other rides and attractions you can enjoy. They include:

FIREFIGHTERS WANTED. Jump on a fire truck and race to hose down a burning building at Fun Town Fire Academy.

KNIGHTS WANTED. Are you brave enough to face the fire-breathing dragon on the Dragon Coaster as you search for the LEGOLAND crown jewels?

TEST DRIVERS. If you’ve got the guts, jump in a life size LEGO race vehicle and test its acceleration, braking and maneuverability as you race on the LEGO TECHNIC Test Track rollercoaster.

DRIVERS WANTED. Become an ace driver at the Volvo Driving School. Speed across the waves at Wave Racer, or become an intrepid fossil hunter at Dig those Dinos.

The weatherman may not call for precipitation, but the AQUAZONETM Wave Racers sure do! Power ski through the waves and dodge surprise water blasts triggered from spectator stations.

** Make SURE that you also take a Lego Movie at the LEGO Show Place. Buckle up for the ride of your life at the LEGO Racers 4-D movie. Dodge smoke, wind, snow and water as you speed into the wild world of racecar driving. Spellbreaker 4-D is a classic tale of good versus evil set in medieval times.

** This is a slow ride. Ride the LEGOLAND® Express or glide along in a leaf-shaped boat on Fairy Tale Brook, sailing gently through different fairy tale scenes featuring characters built of LEGO bricks.

Dig Those Dinos is an interactive area that allows young guests to test their paleontology skills as they dig for the "skeletal remains" of dinosaurs buried in over 30 cubic yards of sand.

Bring your own sand toys or for a nominal fee, you can rent a Jr. Paleontologist shovel, bucket and fossil brush. When you return your rented tools you'll receive a Dig Those Dinos surprise egg to keep! You can even buy a set of excavation tools to take home with you!

EXPLORE Village provides a whimsical setting where our younger guests will find wonder and adventure. Venture into the wilds of Africa on Safari Trek and see life-sized giraffes, zebras, lions, and more - all made of LEGO® bricks.

Stop by LEGOWOOD Studios where you can stock up on your favorite LEGO toys, souvenirs, apparel and more from your favorite movie and TV hits.

Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip to Legoland!! :)
