Angie has recently finished a successful stand-up theatre play tour entitled, Issues: We've Got Them All in which she had a classic leading role. Angie also appears to no longer be signed to J Records, as she is no longer a featured artist at the label's official website. Also, her official site is frozen.
No one knows what's next for Angie. She is now appearing on the VH1's reality television series Celebrity Fit Club for the fourth season, which began on August 6, 2006. While on the show, Angie lost eighteen pounds, the second lowest loss in the history of the show.
Stone has also had various Summer Festival dates lined up across America and also three headlining American shows in June and another two in the Netherlands in August.
Angie has also booked a August 19 concert date in the United Kingdom, the one off date presented by Soul Searching entertainment sees her and fellow soul singer Anthony Hamilton take to the stage together. Tickets can be brought here.
During an interview on BBC 1Xtra on August 27, Angie announced that she had signed to the reworked Stax Records. She is currently working on an album which will be released sometime in 2007.
