I have to say Owen and Rooney are the best pairing. Owen has not been healthy in some time though. But remember the England Argentina game? Thats just an example of what he can do. Hopefully he returns fully fit soon.

But currently I go with Rooney. He can destroy a defence on his day.

Very hard question as there isn't anyone really that good on the England squad that could be considered a top level striker. I guess Rooney is OK, although he has done nothing the last 2 years or so at the International level.

Wayne Rooney when at his best. Michael Owen is also a great striker, but he's been stricken with injury as of late, so we'll have to se how that affects his playing abilities.

Wayne Rooney of course.....and the sooner Micheal Owen is fit again so England can have a decent strike force the better. Axe the freak!

Rooney - can dismantle a defence with his presence but is not an out & out striker
Crouch - you must be joking, unless we are playing some nondescript nation
Owen - I'll be glad to see him back but he is starting to loose a bit of pace

I'd like to see Andy Johnson given more of a chance.
