CNN did say that and I agree with you. This is what happens with a nation full of reprobate minds.

The Smoking Police are a very wealthy lobby.
Some reports show the tobacco Industry making more money with the current anti smoking policies than before the PC smoking police got started.
I don't smoke but support those that do as a free exercise.

If that is true, than we really need to define character flaws.
It would not surprise me though. Barak seems like a good guy, coming from a Republican, but the personal attacks seem a little too early. This could be a rough election (IN 2 FRICKIN YEARS!!!)

Clearly, smoking is indicative of a character flaw, but it's probably just CNN's way of trying to distract us from what a real disaster this individual is.
It's kinda like the secretary who pushes a letter through her boss by putting in an intentional typo. Her boss sees it, points it out, beats his chest, then signs the corrected copy without reading further.

A political analyst was speaking on the situation ,and yes he did say that, and he also said that Obama would be considered a hypocrite if he tried to speak about Health Care for this country if he smokes.
I have an open question on that topic right now.

From a personal point of view is it a character flaw? No. From the point of view of a presidential candidate? Yes. Unfortunately. Anything that could possibly curb people from voting for you is a character flaw. And let's face it, the U.S. is trying to be more healthy, and alcohol and nicotine dependence run rampant. So, yeah, somebody could use agaisnt him that he smokes, because we tend to fantasize that our presidents don't smoke, never tried drugs, don't cuss, or make off color jokes....

Abortion is a character flaw? Maybe he'll confess up to one of those. Drug addiction got past you and you stop to cry about he smokes and someone said something about it? Yea smoking and bragging about it and running for president IS a flaw of character.

I don't know if CNN said it, but I wouldn't think it is as outlandish as you do. Nicotine is a form of drug and most people think that drug use indicates some flaw of character. I wouldn't think that most people would "choose" to ingest something that will eventually kill them. It is an addiction.

despite if or no longer he smokes has little or no longer something to do together with his skill to be President. George W. Bush is a under the effect of alcohol whether it did no longer provide up him. i do no longer smoke, in no way have, yet for people who p.c. to kill themselves in that way I say decide for it. Obama is attempting to stop. sturdy for him. i'm hoping he's effective yet whilst no longer, so what, there are a number of greater considerable matters interior the international than despite if any of our political applicants smoke or no longer.

smoking IS a character flaw, IMO I used to smoke and I was strong enough and smart enough to give it up, also, don't use the lord's name in vain, it's offensive to some people
