I am 23weeks pregnant, and since last week my baby girl has been kicking, and dancing non-stop, it seems! Will she ever settle down?

Funny huh.... lol Nope not for long and she will have the perfect timing. When you get tired and want to sleep, she will be getting her second wind. So.. my solution worked for me. Get a piece of ice. Chase her around, get her tired and you both can get some rest. Good luck.

Right On, sounds like you are going to have a healthy happy baby, congratulations.
Now as far as when will the little one slow down, probably fairly close to the end of your pregnancy. Don't be alarmed if she just all but stops dancing, this is totally normal.
The two reason this will happen are
1. She knows she's all cooked and must come out, so she will be saving up her energy for her journey
2. She's plum out of room to kick up her heels.. but it sounds like she'll just keep bobbing her little head.
Congrats Again and Good Luck

that is a good thing that the baby is very active. always depend on that to make sure the baby is ok but as the baby get older the movements will seem like the are slowing down due to the fact that the baby is bigger nd has limited space to move around. so when u do feel the baby ur stomach will feel alil more tighter than usual.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and Ever since my son started kicking around week 20 he hasn't stopped.. I'm currently the size of a whale...lol... And he hasn't let up one bit... My doctor says that it's completely normal for a baby to be very active all the way up to delivery... It's been very uncomfortable lately because of his size but It's so cool to watch my stomach move like there's an alien inside... I love it.... good luck..

My infant is the comparable way. sooner or later he's lively and the subsequent he's chillin'. the bigger they get, the fewer room they have. ** After week 28 ( you're 29, so...) take the flow try nightly in case you're worried. Have a snack and/or glass of milk, lie down on your left factor, relax, and you've got the skill to count quantity 10 movements in 10 minutes or so. in case you haven't any longer counted 10 in 10 via the top of an hour then attempt back and in case you don't get 10 in 10 via the top of yet another hour then call your well-being care provider!!

I had the same problem you do when I was pregnant with my son. He just never seemed to stop moving. I had also been drinking sodas and sweet tea. I had to stop drinking it. I also had to cut down on sugary foods and chocolates. I completely cut out the sodas and tea and noticed a pretty big improvement. He kept moving, just not as hard. I hope you have a wonderful and healthy pregnancy... congrats!!

My daughter was literally kicking on the way out. My doctor and nurse were so surprised to see her crowning and still kicking me. LOL Some say the last couple of weeks are better, but it wasn't for me. I guess it depends on your size and the size of your baby.

welcome to pregnancy, hun. the baby will stop kicking when it comes out.
walking tends to put a baby to sleep, because as you walk, it rocks the baby back and forth in your belly. however, this means that you are awake, and when you stop to rest, that stops the rocking motion which then wakes up the baby.
this is a good thing, though, because an active baby means a healthy baby. this is also how you can tell if it dies inside of you if it ever stops kicking.

when she gets bigger is the general rule but I didn't feel that way with my son for fact when I would cuddled with my husband at night in bed he often would wake me and ask me to roll over because the baby was kicking him. my son also kicked my best friend whom placed his head on my belly I was about 6-7 months at the time my son kicked him.

Probably not. My daughter started out with what felt like tickels, and it ended up feeling like little feet and knees poking and trying to get comfy. It was strange at first to me but once i had her and she wasn't kicking at me anymore i actually missed the feeling.
