I would invest in a good moisturizer for dry skin first before I tried a foundation. If your skin is properly hydrated you can use any foundation you want to.

I also have very pale and dry skin, I use prescriptives, which you can buy at your local department store. They have very pale shades and they can also make a custom color just for you! They also have a ton of finishes like virtual skin, matt, and so on! They are a little costly but are definately worth it! But you know what they say, you get what you pay for...
Good Luck!

No 7 Radiant glow foundation!! fantastic product! i have the same skin type except i have sensitive, acne prone skin as well. and the product worked wonderfully with me. its a bit expensive, £12 but last for a very long time since u only need one small pump each time u use it and it covers everything! good luck with it! :)

CREAM for consistency is great. And here's a trick- the best one I have found. Add a little moisturizer to your foundation when you apply it. That way you can be assured of lighter coverage, and an extra dose of moisture too.
Check out the Daily Defense Moisturizer at

Mixed with my foundation I get a beautiful dewy finish.

clinique soft finish foundation is really good. it moisturises the skin so it doesn't feel tight half way through the day. visit a clinique counter so they can find the righ shade for you.
