4.

1980 Chevy Chevette: purchased in the summer of 1984. A black 4-door. A very unexciting car, but it came with a Blaupunkt stereo and a security system. The floorboards rusted out and the tailpipe fell off all the time.

1985 Ford Thunderbird: purchased in 1989. My first car after college. The plastic "Thunderbird" logo on the trunk cracked and half fell off so it earned the nickname "Derbird"

1990 Toyota Camry: purchased fall 1994. Black 4 door. Maybe my favorite car. I took the passenger side rear view mirror off one day backing out of my driveway.

2000 Honda Civic: puchased winter 2001 - my current car. It's filthy.

Lots of them -- the 1st was an old beat-up Mustang my dad got for me when I was 16 --- what a piece of crap. I think he literally bought it from a junk yard, needless to say it didn't last but a couple of months before it fell apart !

I've had lots of cars in between four Toyotas, two Hondas, two Nissans, three Saturns, currently have a 2005 Saturn and a 2007 Toyota. Love them both.

properly cable brakes are fairly taking us again, per chance the 1920's? yet heaters and demisters were regularly 'ideas' way as a lot because the Nineteen Sixties. the single which sticks in my suggestions were the 'vacuum' windscreen wipers as perfect for the former Ford prefects, Wipers almost end going up a hill then almost fly off the show on the way down again! 6 volt electrics were amusing, headlights like candles and on a chilly morning you had about 10 secs on the starter in the previous the battery grow to be flat. My Dad had between the first BMC ' Minis' in 1959 it grow to be £470.00 sparkling! He used to come across a crowd round it at the same time as he got here again after parking it !

I'm now on my third second-hand car, and YES, I do remember the first two very well.
I had quite some problem parting with my second car last year, it was 20 years old, but still performed perfectly...only small annoying thing was that it was rusting away from under my butt.

YES -- I remember all the cars I've owned (not too many, by the way). My fondest memories are of the first car I learned to drive on (a 1958 Bonneville Convertible -- even though it was quite old when I got it -- it was fun to learn to drive on). Altogether, I've purchased for myself 6 cars total.
