Why do we award dishonest people with success in business and politics?

Big business in particular is warfare. The guiding principle in warfare is that the enemy must be deceived.
Next to that: the ends justify the means.

In a world where people are spiritual this would not be happening. World wide acceptance of spiritual principles would make the murder, theft, rape, lying and all the other damage to people resulting from the ethics of war so obvious that people would immediately dismantle such institutions at the slightest whiff of corruption.

A nice little worldwide geologic catastrophe will wipe the face of the earth clean of the Dr. Strangeloves who practice these horrors at the expense of everyone else. Coming soon to your neighborhood, global catastrophe ala Hapgood and Velikovsky.

Because at one time the government fought organized crime, Then the gangsters paid off politicians Now they have there own people elected so they can legally steal. The government now is Organized crime

We don't purposefully reward the dishonestly. We reward them because they give us something we want. Or we believe they will.
