Award shows (Grammys, Oscars, etc) are lame, and done.

Who really wants to keep putting a spotlight on those out-of-touch with the rest of us?

I enjoy watching award shows. Sure, we can get the information about who won what on the news or internet, and the goodie bags they give out at those events are ridiculous. However, there is something about seeing some fo the greatest living actors all in one concert hall that excites many people. Also, esxpecially with the Oscars, the event has become like an American National Pasttime, which just so happens to attract people from all aroudn the world into viewing (unlike just about any American Sports events)

I don't watch many. I do like to see Johnny Depp. Apart from the obvious reasons (Mmmm) I feel he's out of touch with the day to day celebrity. He takes really different film roles and stays out of the spot light as much as possible. He is really humble and has his feet on the ground.
