I've never even heard of this 23 bull crap and I am a believer in ghosts and scary stuff but I haven't heard of this until being on this YA thing. I can't wait to see the movie just to get a better idea of what its about and where the hell it originated from.

It's scary because if you don't spend money to see the movie, the letters in your name will add up to 23 and you will turn into Jim Carey, which is scary enough on it's own.

well it has a lot of elements that make it fearsome.
9/11/2001 =9+11+2+1= 23
2 divided by 3 is .666 (rounded to three digits)
those are just examples. there are loads of other reasons though.
