You are going to need to add for shipping, just as Dell does, and you are going to need to decide if you get a paypal account first. Paypal will likely mean that it will bring more. Why? Because some people will only pay with paypal, for one thing because it helps protect them against fraud, for example, if you never ship the computer.
Since ebay is an auction, I recommend you start the bidding at around $100. Then, "the market" will bid the computer up especially as it approaches the closing time. Ebay usually has a week. Time putting it into ebay so that it ends on a weekend instead of a weekday, because more people will be on their computer, and thus more bidders on weekends. I think your computer will sell for between $200 and $300 IF (and only if) you do a good job marketing it, with pictures, and exact descriptions. For example they want to know whether or not it is Intel 1.8ghz or AMD 1.8Ghz. If you have never sold anything on ebay before, you will have two disadvantages..one because of your limited experience and knowledge, and another they are less likely to take a chance with a brand new person on a fairly big ticket item. "Power Sellers" that have successfully sold hundreds or even thousands of computers with excellent feedback from customers, will blow your doors off. After all, who would you rather deal with, a big name like Walmart, or some guy selling stuff out of the back of his truck and you know he will be gone tommorrow and you dont even know if the stuff is hot or not.

You would also do good to go to the Post Office (or UPS) and get a good idea of what shipping will be. If the buyer is going to pay the shipping, then having this amount will help them in deciding to pay the price you're asking.

Less than $300.... you have to compete with Dell's new computer systems that go for around $400 and are leaps and bounds faster than yours.
