There's really not much about Ephrata to tell you, it's a backwards cow-town.
It's in central PA my friend, there's NOTHING there to mention except for some great outdoor activities come spring and summer.
Museums : in Ephrata, none. In central PA in general there's the Civil War Museum and State Museum in Harrisburg (roughly an hour or so away).
Cinema : I'm sure Ephrata at least has a movie theatre of some sort.
Restaurants : nothing high-end, it'll likely be small Mom and Pop owned diners/pizza shops, etc.
