Hi there,
I had a breast reduction about 2 years ago. I am now pregnant with my first child (due in june:) and wondered if anyone else has had a breast reduction and has still been able to breast feed? Thanks.

http://www.bfar.org has a lot of info about breastfeeding after reduction.

My PS said I could breastfeed after reduction as he didn't remove the nipple from my breast like some have to. So, if you did not have a Free Nipple Graft (FNG) then you should have no problems breastfeeding. If you had an FNG, then I am not sure, but check that site I posted about.

i had a breast reduction when my daughter was 3 months old she is now 20. When she was 3 I had another child a boy and I did produce milk. There was plenty of milk to sustain the baby.
Good luck to you and congratulations!
