You could have argued that many players had MVP seasons last year. But the team record has a lot to do with it as well and very rare will you see a team with a record of 45-37 have a player from their team voted MVP nor will their coach be coach of the year.

Nash is the epitome of the team player who would give the ball to the best player positioned to take the shot. Never needed nor wanted glory for himself but played for the team.
Bryant is in the same category but Nash gets my vote.

Well, if it would have meant Nash wasn't then yes. I don't know if it should have been Kobe, but probably Wade, Lebron, Brand, Dirk or Kobe. I don't think Nash should have gotten it last year. He can get it again this year, but last year was not a good choice.

No. Scoring 81 points against a very weak Toronto team didn't impress the voters that much. Aside from him doing that he wasn't considered as a leading candidate. One game shouldn't change that and it didn't change that.
Not sure if I would have given it to Nash either.

No,Steve Nash was probably the correct pick.However,you wouldn't neccessarily go wrong with the Kobra or even Mr.Free Throw,D-Wayne Wade.
