I think this movie was done in the 1980's but a little girl goes to another land through something in her room. She ends up in a land with these puppets. I can not find where to get this movie. I was trying to think of all the movies when I was little like the Dark Crystal and Unicorn and things like that.

It might be Labyrinth! That is one of my fav movies. She wishes her little baby brother would disappear b/c she is stuck babysitting him and he actually does disappear - into this magical crazy world. Then the whole movie is about her trying to find him and who/what she meets along the way :-)
