start practice your cute shoes in soft carpet, and then try to walk on floor, try to maintain your balance, but dont wear heels regularly as they can cause a gap in spinal cord, specially creates pain in thighs and lower spinal cord

Practice is the best way to learn anything. Just remember to keep your balance and posture correct...no sense in throwing out your back just to wear a 1/4 inch taller heel.

the same way you learned to walk in 3 1/2 inch heels, by practicing, and just walking i them.

Well it's a matter of getting it and not, but go through the stages, lower to larger. And extra 1/4 of an inch is hardly that much, in fact it's about 1cm.

Good luck and remember - Learning to walk in high heels is mostly a matter of practice!

Practice in them every day until you're confident that you'll be fine walking around on the day of the party. Practice makes perfect!! :)
