My personal starting XI would be
1 Strauss
2 Vaughan
3 Joyce
4 Bell
5 Pietersen
6 Collingwood
7 Flintoff
8 Nixon
9 Plunkett
10 Anderson/Mahmood
11 Panesar
With Flintoff and Collingwood I see no need for a four-man specialist bowling attack.
However if say Vaughan or Pitersen got injured again everyone could move up a place and bring Broad in at number 11. He's a very promising bowler who made a big impact on debut. Could act as a trump card at the World Cup.
I think with practice Strauss will return to form and I think it would be foolish to drop someone of huge experience and attitude to keep Loye in the side, who despite being talented isn't reliable enough.
Vaughan is absolutely necessary as a captain.
With Colly and Flintoff bowling there shouldn't be room for both Anderson and Mahmood, whom after Plunketts tri series performance will be fighting for one place. I'd let Anderson edge it.
So in answer to your question, drop Loye and either Anderson or Mahmood to make room for Vaughan and KP.

Well Mal Loye will definitely have to make way, whilst his slog sweep looks great when it comes off, he struggles to much to play traditional shots and misses a lot of scoring opportunities with his double backlift.
Now as has been mentioned, Vaughan's fitness will alwasys remain a concern, so he is no certainty to come back. If he doesnt, Strauss should move to the top of the order and Pietersen should slot in at 4. Now if Vaughan does come back, unfortunantely Strauss is the most likely to go at this point due to his form slump. It almost certainly would have been Paul Collingwood, but his last 3 matches in Australia sealed his place in the side.

2 of Strauss, Loye and Joyce. Having said that an earlier poster made a very good point about Vaughan's fitness, to which I would add he's not very good at ODIs! He is however far and away the best captain we have so stick him in to open and see off the shine and then KP and Fred can larra it all round the park while Bell and Colly accumulate. I'd also get rid of Nixon and pick Read. I think it's a disgrace how Fletcher (who otherwise I have a lot of time for) treats him.

Am not sure vaughan will be fit?? he seems to keep breaking down at the moment. Although i think if we manage him correctly he should be okay?? i.e play him against NZ and rest against Canada and Kenya... Pietersen has to come in for Loye.... my squad would be with asrtrix against starting XI;
Vaughan*
Flintoff*
Strauss*
Bell*
Collingwood*
Pietersen*
Loye
Nixon*
Read
Panesar*
Mahmood*
Plunkett*
Broad
Joyce
Dalyrmple*

Maybe Dalrymple, because he gets out too easily by taking runs
that are not there too often, and although he has taken a few
wickets he seems to be a bit too expensive regarding the
amount of runs he incurs.

Dalrymple should make way for kp. I don't think Vaughans odi record warrants a place in the side.
