If your man thought you were cheating, now it might just be me but wouldn't he actually go and check it out to see if it is true before going out and doing something that would tear his family apart or is it a sign that he just didn't want it anymore?
And he even has the nerve to be arrogant about it after you've been with him a long time! WHAT!!!!!!

First of all, why would he think you were cheating? Do you flirt a lot, or go out secretly?

Second, this may be just his excuse so you can start to blame yourself, instead of blaming him. This is what a typical cheater says, and does. They try to blame your for their cheating ways. That is the reason he didn't check it out first, because he was going to do it anyway.

Wow, your hubby found a good defensive tactic. If he "lies" by saying he thought you were cheating first, it gives him some kind of excuse, makes you look guilty too, and when divorce comes, he might not lose as much as he would by just being a cheater.

We all know he's the creep. Just keep a long list of all the lies he tells to show a pattern that this man is a liar.

I am astounded at how many affairs happen because they THOUGHT the other was doing it.
How stupid can people be? If you think they are, check it out.
It's never right to cheat - in revenge or otherwise.

I don't know what to tell you - this guy is an ***

He was just using that as an excuse. He knew you werent cheating, but wanted an excuse to be able to cheat himself. Im sorry that it happened to you, its sad. But he isnt worth it, you need to get your family away from him and begin the healing process..

Thats a bullshit excuse.
There is question to be arised when there is honesty on go,only the one who is guilty will feel like a S H I T and accuse falsely for their misdeeds.
