Can anyone give me insights about African perspectives about African Americans and about the US? I am really hoping someone from and African country can give me their perspectives regarding the dynamics between Afr. Amer. and people from Afr. countries...

That would be me. I see African Americans as my own people. Last night, I saw Barack Obama's interview on 60 minutes and to my great disappointment, it was brought up that he wasn't a REAL AMERICAN ***** because his Black side hadn't experienced slavery. In other words, he couldn't understand.
