I have to write a paper on ending violence without violence. It was something that MLK spent his whole life doing. Can someone help me with ideas to put into the paper.

yea. it's popularly called ahimsa. MLK was hugely inspired by Gandhiji. And following this principle, mlk said, darkness cannot be ended by darkness; light alone can do it. the thing is simple. it's human psychology. when one person is so humble at all times, it is impossible to ignore his outlook on life and give in to his simplicity and requirements. good luck with the paper.

In cases like World War 2 no. In cases like the British occupation of India yes.

Yes, Gandhi did it. MLK himself said "Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that".
I think he may have been on to something there.

Have a nice day!

I am afraid not. If that were true, the first negotiations with the Muslims would not have failed.
