Thank you for the information,however I am aware of the Marilyn Mansion Story and I am also aware of women doing this to decrease their waist size.
I know that there was a famous person in history who had removed some ribs for this other purpose.
Thanks again any other info reguarding would be much appreciated.

It used to be the fashion in Scotland and other places to remove the lower ribs of women in order to make their waist more slender.

Supposedly rocker Marilyn Manson did this. It is not true. See his autobiography "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell".
