They've have to trade up, because there's no way he's dropping down to the 23rd pick. And I don't think any of the teams up that high would trade their pick(s) for anything -- too many teams need a QB.

Also --my 2 cents would be that it would be a horrible move. Green and Huard are both very capable and have proven themselves in the NFL.

Had not heard that rumor. Would can trant green in a heart beat, Then put Damon Huard in as starter, brodie croyle or brady quinn as back up QB. Definately GET RID OF GREEN, HE STINKS.

Go Cheifs.

For the Record - Huard may not have many starts prior to coming to the Chiefs, but he did back up the best from Marino to Brady, He can do the job, has the experience, and has been accident free in his career. Give him a chance to prove the GM wrong and the new coach right.

Go Damon.

Get rid of Huard. It would be best to make the rookie QB the #2 for the first year so he can learn the system. Have Green start one more season, then make Quinn the franchise QB. That is how the Bengals did with Carson Palmer, and it worked quite well.

That will not happen. The cost to trade up would be high. Plus the chiefs took Brodie Croyle last year in the second or third round.
