I know, it sounds impossible, but for me, it's not. LOL My cat knocked them into the toilet and I flushed it before I realized it. Now I have to retrieve them.

So what do I need to do to get them out? Help please.....

The odds that your glasses are still in the line are pretty small, maybe they did get stuck in there but I'll bet they flushed right on out into the sewer with the rest of whatever you flushed, if not you'll know soon enough...then you need to go in there and retrieve the block. However considering the S trap in your toilet they could be stuck in there.
Shut off water, flush and remove all water, remove tank (2 nuts under tank), unscrew water line, unscrew 2 bolts on toilet by floor, lift up toilet bowl and check in trap inside the toilet. be sure to replace wax ring when putting it back together. Good luck.

Recommend a plumber. But, if you want to do yourself:

(1) Shut off the water going into the tank.

(2) Flush. Several times until almost all of the water in the tank is gone.

(3) Use a wet vac, sponge, or (paper) towels to soak up the last of the water in the tank.

(4) If any water is left in the bowl, do #3.

(5) Remove the water-in line with pliers or wrench.

(6) Remove the caps on the bolts. They should pry up easily with a screwdriver.

(7) Remove the bolts using a wrench.

(8) Lift up.

Now, the toilet is free.

Given the size of glasses, it seems unlikely that they'd flush. However, if they did, there's a possibility that they're still in the toilet. Or, if they really were tiny, that they gave down the plumbing.

There's a very good chance that they'll be pretty broken. Or will become broken when trying to remove.

Be away that when you lift up the toilet, it will smell terrible. Stuff a rag into the hole in the floor while you're working. Don't forget to remove when you put the toilet back.

Putting the toilet back is mostly reversing the directions. However, be aware that putting in a new wax ring if advised.

do not feel bad , i once dropped my rings in the bowl , they were lying on the sink and rushing , i knocked them in there , luckily i did not flush ......here is how to do it :

REMOVING A TOILET
(courtesy of H D )
You'll remove your toilet in two stages: first the tank, then the bowl. The messiest part is removing the old wax ring underneath the bowl; once that's done, the job is simple. Before you disconnect the plumbing, make sure you have another toilet to use while this one is out of commission. Also, you might want to check with your local trash services to see if they pick up old toilets, or if you'll need to make special arrangements. You won't want your old toilet becoming a permanent lawn decoration!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
SKILL SCALE
Easy
TIME REQUIRED
A beginner should plan on two hours to remove an old toilet.
TOOLS
Sponge
Bucket
Wrenches
Ratchet wrench and sockets
Putty knife
Screwdrivers
Wire brush
Hacksaw (if needed)
Nut splitter (if needed)
MATERIALS
Rag
Toilet

Turn off the shutoff valve on the water supply line. Flush the toilet -- that empties the tank and the bowl -- then sponge them both dry. Disconnect both ends of the water supply tube at the shutoff valve and at the toilet tank.
Use a ratchet wrench or a basin wrench to remove the nuts from the mounting bolts that hold the tank onto the bowl. There will be two or three of them -- one on each side of the tank, and maybe one in the middle. Carefully lift the tank off the bowl and set it where it won't be in the way.
If you still have trim caps on the floor bolts, pry them off and then remove the nuts from the floor bolts with an adjustable wrench. If the nuts won't budge, try spraying them with penetrating oil. If that doesn't work, you may have to cut the bolts with a hacksaw or split the nuts with a nut splitter.
Underneath the toilet is a wax ring that seals the bottom of the bowl to the toilet flange -- that's the end of the drain pipe. To break the seal, you'll have to straddle the toilet and gently rock it side to side. When it's free, lift off the bowl, then lay it on its side nearby (but out of the way).
Use a putty knife to scrape away the old wax from the toilet flange and the bottom of the toilet. Line a bucket with a plastic bag and throw the old wax in it. Clean the flange and horn with a stiff wire brush.
Right about now you'll probably be smelling something pretty strong -- it's sewer gas. To keep sewer gas from entering your home, stuff a rag into the hole. Cover the flange and rag with an inverted bucket for the time being.
here are some pics to go along with it :

good luck :-)
if you do not think you can do it ? call a friend to help or a plumber if you can afford it .........................

Shut off the water, the valve is usually behind the toilet.
Flush, and hold the lever down until water stops running out of the tank.
Get a big sponge and a bucket. Sop up any remaining water in the bowl and tank.
Disconnect the water supply from the bottom of the tank.
Remove the 2 mounting nuts at the bottom of the toilet.
Lift the toilet off the mounting bolts and lay it on it's side on the floor.
Scrape the wax gunk off the bottom and reach in to retrieve your glasses.
To put it back you're going to need a new wax seal, an I suggest new flange bolts and nuts.
Clean all the old wax gunk off the flange.
Replace the flange bolts.
Put the new wax ring on the flange.
Set the toilet in place over the new wax ring.
Replace the nuts.
Reconnect the water supply.
Turn the water back on.

Sounds easier than it is to put it back. The wax seals are designed to be a one time use item. If you don't set the toilet exactly right you will ruin the seal and it will either leak or your toilet won't flush correctly. If you don't have an extra bathroom, I suggest you call a plumber.

My advice would be call a plumber but if the toilet is working fine and not plugged up now, probably the glasses are long gone. In that case, save on the plumber by not calling him, and go get new glasses. Even if you call the plumber you may end up paying him and still need to get new glasses. Bad day over there? Hint to avoid a repeat performance: Cat - the other white meat. Just a thought.

My fieance says take the bolts off move the toilet. the glasses are probaably in the trap. But you have to go get some bowl wax from a hardware store to reseal the bowl when you put the toilet back.

You need to unscrew it from the base of the floor. Don't for get to shut off water. And then stick your hand down the pipe. Use a flashlight hopefully it is stuck there.

If you are the kind of person who drops their glasses down the toilet and blames the cat, you need a plumber.
