If you've taken them correctly the pills will have stopped you ovulating so there will be no egg there for your boyfriend's sperm to fertilize. You can carry on taking them without a break, but this will not give you any further protection. Carry on enjoying your sex life and don't worry!

you should be fine. You should only carry on with the next packet if you have been ill in the last week before you had sex e.g. tummy bug or if you haven't taken the pill correctly e.g. missed it and didn't take it within 12 hours. Otherwise you need not take the next packet and should have the normal break.

As long as you are sticking to the course as you should you will be fine. I just hope that wasn't your first packet? It's sometimes risky if you've only just started on the pill.
The first time is always he scariest...nothing will make you stop worrying until you come on again. Shouldn't take more than a few days if you've finished a packet.
Good luck!

If you have been taking them for a while, you shouldn't have to worry. But you should think about you having unprotected sex. Not just pregnancy comes with having unprotected sex, you can get an STD, or AIDS. You should use a back-up method to your birth control, such as condoms, which help protect against pregnancy and an STD.

Surely your doctor should have explained everything to you when you started taking them? I'm sure he/she would have given you something to read about it too. Go back and get him to explain it properly.
