I read something once that lead me to believe that after you have given birth vaginally, you cant ever use tampons again...is this true? I had my daughter 7 months ago , but i just weaned her from breastfeeding and my period just came back, is it ok to use tampons or not?

I agree with the others - it's definitely safe for you to use tampons. The only thing to consider is that you may have to go up to a larger size (if you had a vaginal delivery), or otherwise you might get some leakage. Hope this helps :)

You should be able to use tampons. I do and I had my son 16 months ago.

No..it's not true. You can use them after your 6 week checkup and the doctor says it's OK.
