Could be, but that isn't really any different from calling a terrorist a common criminal in most Countries. Terrorist has just been used as a new language with a current political reign. It has been going on all the time regardless of the Internet and news media. The Middle East (Persia) has always been a problem that nobody, not even the Romans could control. Peoples with out hope from oppression have nothing to loose. The cure would be to allow them into the World market system without the oppression, so they can take care of themselves and industrialize on there own. Would you refer to the American Indian as a terrorist when they were oppressed too?

No.
I live in the US and we are somewhat aware of the problems in Latin American countries, for instance. There are plenty of problems with poverty, lack of education, corruption, crime, political oppression, civil war, etc. However, we do not see terrorism coming out of Latin America. The US has allowed millions of Latin Americans to immigrate illegally into the US over the last few decades, and no terrorism whatsoever has resulted. There are problems, but terrorism is not one of them.
That is just one example.
Terrorism has to result from a culture in which it is acceptable, at least to some extent. The terrorist leaders of the world are not uneducated, nor are many of the greatest proponents of terrorism. But it is somehow compatible with their value systems.
Although most terrorists we are dealing with now are associated with Islam, the terrorists of North Ireland were associated with Catholicism. (As a Catholic myself, I simply do not understand this association. I see nothing in Catholicism that would promote it. There is probably something to be learned here....)

education should only be given to the wise and intelegent, of any country, look what happens when we educate fools, they become ego maniacs that think they should rule the world. also educated people are often traitors who sell out their country for money like we did in britain. education is not enough or too much
without a good strong grip of truth. The west is well educated but we are extreemly sinful and corrupt. that why the muslums have got their backs up thats why they call us the infidel.

The middle east isn't really made up of 3 world countries, and we don't see anywhere near as much terrorist activity coming from African countries which truly are 3rd world. Most stories you see on the news about are about fairly educated, intelligent people

Not so much the LACK of education but the CONTENT of education. Most schools throughout the Muslim and Arab worlds teach children to hate Jews, Americans, and other Westerners.

Lack of good education which include and understanding of human values. We all strive towards Love, Peace, Truth, Non-violence and Right Conduct.
One international organisation actively striving to include this in it's educational program for it's children is:-

Look up the website.

Could be. That sort of thing leads to blind faith and certain people take advantage of it. Catholics had the same kind of deal back in the day and the Church is still having a hard time dealing with the faithful who use their God-given intellect and education to think for themselves. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are two others who abuse a similar situation.

Iraq is George Bush's waterloo and he is already dragging all of us with him into this black hole of deceit, hubris, humiliation and heartache.
We have killed more innocent civilians in Iraq than the terrorists killed on 9/11. In addition to killing, we have also humiliated and tortured many Iraqis. By creating innocent victims, we have advanced the terrorists’ cause. They can now depict us as the terrorists and enlist the support of their countrymen, just as President Bush has enlisted ours. We find this difficult to understand because we cannot envision ourselves as terrorists. Yet, that is exactly how we appear to "WORLD WIDE".

No, I don't think lack of education has anything to do with it. After all, there are very few white terrorists. I think it is more to do with rabble rousing and brainwashing.
