I met Emma Watson (the girl with the big brown hair in the Harry Potter films) about a month ago when i was out with some friends, though none of them knew who she was!

I went up and said hello and i asked for a photograph. She seemed nice, she is quite short and hair is a bit more tame in real life!! And she didn't seem as up her a*se as some people make out.

She also doesn't waggle her eyebrows as much in real life, like she does in the films!

I have also seen Jools Holland (at a shopping centre) Dani Harmer, in Ikea (Tracy Beaker), Linda Robson in Cyprus on holiday and er, Paris Hilton on Mykonos! But i didn't speak to any of them!!

What are your stories?

Xxx

I was at Disney Land a couple of years ago (I was like 14 then and I'm 18 now), and they were trying to get people to come to the new California Adventures park by having ABC stars walking around and at signing booths.

Well, my dad my brother and my sister all went on a ride while my mom and I left to see if we could get tickets to an Aladdin show. At the same time they were about to have a parade to show off all of the stars that were in the park.

I was soo focused on trying to keep up with my mom I did not notice the lady that was running towards me, and I guess she did not notice me either, and we ran into each other. Some stuff fell out of her purse and because I felt bad I helped her pick it up. My mom looked at the lady and looked at me absolutely stunned.

She said thank you, and went on her way again. I tried to get mom walking on OUR way again, but my mom stopped me grabbing my arm, she was squeezing it and to tell you the truth it hurt pretty bad.

"Katie, do you know who that WAS?" she asked, exasperated. I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head. "That was Jennifer Garner!"

LOL! If she had said something earlier I would have asked for her autograph ;).

Let's see, you're probably too young to remember thse two but I played charades with Miss Diane and Benny from Crossroads in my local theatre's Green Room. I (and a dozen other teenagers ... when we were teenagers, I'm 41 tomorrow) escorted Windsor Davis and Don Estelle round the streets of Sunderland in a parade to publicise their pantomime. I've chatted to Cyril Smith in the National Liberal Club and Patrick Moore on a cross channel ferry. I've written to and had replies from John Major and Margaret Thatcher However my proudest one is meeting the Queen by personal invitation in Buckingham Palace.

I have talked to and have gotten autographs from many country music stars from going to concerts in California and Branson, Mo. Also met many of the older Grand Ole Opry stars at Fan Fair in Nashville in 1993. I have a pair of jeans that are signed by many country artists- from the waist to the ankles, front and back. My biggest surprise was the first time I saw Charley Pride in Concert in Springfield, Mo. when he was just starting out. His albums didn't have any pictures and when he was introduced and came out on stage the whole audience gasped. None of us had any idea he was black until then. It was one of my favorite concerts-also my first. I saw him in concert at least 4 more tmes over the years and he only got better with age.

Still haven't met Paul Walker, though. Bummer.

I met Mary Louise Parker at a production in new york years ago. Me, my mom and my grandmother went and sent a note backstage telling Parker that there were three generations of fans in the audience for her that evening - and after the show Mary Louise came out and chatted with us for nearly an hour. She was such a sweet person, and I would love to see her or get in touch again, to tell her it was such a highlight in my grandmother's life. :)

I worked at that in St Andrews - probably the 2 nicest were Jack Nicklaus and Payne Stewart (I got one of his golf balls!!!)
Also met Kevin Costner - not a huge fan - my pals were drooling -he really surprised me and was dead nice!!!
Michael Douglas etc.
I was good fun, some very surprising nice people and it's the ones that i thought wouldn't be! Just goes to show you, eh?
