I have found a few ways to make money at home. It is really important to know how to make money at home in case at any point in your life you find yourself short of money.

I did try the survey companies and did not succeed with them. What happened was that they took lots of time and sent lots of junk mail. They would present me with short surveys in order "to see if I was right for the "real" survey." In this manner they got lots of information for free and then I was never right. I spent a lot of time reading their e-mails and filling out these short surveys. I was offered one taste test that paid $50 but it was on a night I would need a babysitter. So beware some survey companies!

I do know that there are medical records jobs that can be done from home and that generate a decent income.
