Jacob is the #1 used name in America for teh last 5 years, so your son will likely be referred to as "Jacob A." or whatever his last initial is. I am not saying to use something wacky, but Jacob is sooooo overused. But if you love it, it's you child and you should do what feels right!

Is Lee his last name or middle name? It reminds me of Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Lee Curtis. Lee as a middle name is overrated. Too many people with that middle name right now. At first it was cool because it makes you more exotic or unique having a foreign name. How about Matthew Christian?

Very nice strong sounding name!

The boy's name Jacob \j(a)-cob\ is pronounced JAY-kub. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "he who supplants". Biblical: the son of Isaac and Rebekah and twin brother of Esau. Jacob fathered 12 sons and a daughter, who became the ancestors of the nation of Israel, the name Jacob himself received after wrestling with an angel. Jacobo is a Spanish form; Yakov (YAH-kav) is Russian. Senator Jacob Javits; actor Jake Gyllenhall.

I love Jacob, it is so masculine yet sort of friendly sounding as well. It's one of my favourites, my fiance is not keen on biblical names though.
